With no condo viewings until Sunday, I've been able to spread out in the studio for a few days and get back to the Raven painting that has been patiently waiting for some time. The Raven is part of the Although, tomorrow is fire alarm testing day in the building for 8 hours... The new fire alarm system is ear piercing! Will be one horrible day.
This Raven section is part of Mungo Martin's Family Pole (Kwakiutl Style) which he carved for the Museum of Anthropology at UBC.
Andre Prevost, began his work in theatre in the late 70s after completing his studies at the Banff School of Fine Arts, and in his iconography in 1980, and having a large body of work in each. He has since been based in Western Canada; North Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and now back on the West Coast.
