While I am waiting for the gold sealer to set on the icon commission today, I thought it would be a good time to improve the images within the website's gallery for the 'Journeying With The Totems' series. I wasn't happy with the resolution of the images and wanted to provide larger versions to give everyone a better visual of what each painting really is. I realize that it is difficult for people to get a feel for the paintings as they are very tactile when seen in person.
But I am still having to maneuver through the Weebly Editor's limitations and settings. Even though I've enlarged all the images, when you click on an image in the gallery, captioned thumbnail pictures may still come up for the larger paintings.
I am hoping that this next added step will be clear enough, even though not as straight-forward as I would like.
For Mac users as myself, once the captioned picture comes up, you can then two-finger click (on the track pad) on that image and a magnified image will come up. For the images that are larger then your monitor screen, you will be able to scroll up and down to view the full picture.
For PC users, hold the Control key down and use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in and out.
My quest is to provide a better visualization of my work for you and I welcome any feedback of now this update works or doesn't. In the best of all worlds, I hope to one day switch over to an editor such as Word Press, but with the cost and large learning curve, it will have to wait for now.
