Needing to make space for the next projects, I needed to pack the two icons even though there is no confirmed transport date yet. With it being Holy Week, it will likely not be until after Easter. But in the meantime, they are all packed and ready. (You can see them leaning in the corner on the left.) I also had to pack the 'Welcome World' painting as it is being picked up tomorrow, and working its way to its home in Powell River. I had another productive day today in that I was able to get the drafting and enlarging done for both the new Siksika Sacred Heart Of Mary icon, and a new totem canvas of the Eagle/Raven Shield. The Eagle/Raven was calling strongly. I feel like that journey that I took with it back in 2015, just in time for the Silk Purse Solo Show, ended abruptly. I just completed it in time for the show, and it sold. So I didn't get much quiet time with it. It was also the last painting from that year and a half that I had been working on the series full-time, and it somehow feels right to return to that point and let the totem guide once again. I've also hung the large Brown Bear on my wall, even though it isn't complete yet. But it was safer being on my wall while it waits to go back on the easel. If you happen to be interested in it, it just want to contact, please feel free to use my Contact Form on the website.
