With the help of my son, who decided to drive me to Port Moody today as I was not up to it with the virus recovery, we got the series to Arts Centre, unpacked them and loaded the empty boxes back in to the van. Once we got back home home, it dawned on me that I had my iPhone in my pocket and could have taken a few pics to post here! It may be a generational thing? When in the moment and interacting with people, taking a picture is the last thing on my mind.
I was pleased with the space and the lighting (facing north). The last 2 exhibits faced south and on sunny days, the spaces looked dark. But I noticed how the colors came out today, even on the Blue Totems and Beaver Totem With Moss. They looked great. It is always nice to hear "Pictures just don't do justice to these paintings. The picture are good but, they are amazing in real life.' Now let's hope that the show goes well and some sales will help me get back to continuing on this series in the studio, and bill some bills. The Opening Reception is on August 27th from 6-8pm . http://www.andreprevost.com/exhibitions.html
